the improvments from V2 to V3 are :
-different values of tone stack componants for more tuning range 8)
-new power and output transformer : custom and "made in france" 8O
- power supply with LC filtering for lower hum
-power tube range from EL84 and 6V6 to KT88 at 100% bias! (check the pinout and socket if different than EL34) 8O
- new stand-by wiring for a smart switching (capacitor pre-load at 20V)
- onboard security LED, red light when high voltage is present!
- still low cost : 179 Euros at tube-town, germany this include cahssis, transformers, tubes all the hardware exept knobs and tools. you must also add the shipment.
but
- the kit does not include the "chiken head" knobs anymore, you have to add the knobs you like to your ordrer
- nor stand-by light
- not yet "building instructions"
