I always capture DI tracks for reamping but i always find myself endlessly tweaking plugins to sound good rather than actually recording. So i put together a single channel preamp based on my favourite amp the SLO100.
along with this I added a buffered isolated dry output to avoid losses with a passive through jack. This goes out to my interface to capture the DI track. And my favourite boost a Paul C Timmy alongside a gyrator EQ with frequencies set around the mesa mkiic+ GEQ

I havent drawn up schematics for all of the boards as i based them off old vero layouts. But the main schematic is attached for the preamp.
I also did this as part of a community project on the MetalMusicians forum with some guys giving input on what they thought would be a good idea.
The effects loop is purely for easy integration into my rack so I can use it 4CM with a digitech gsp1101 to switch to modelling for clean sounds & add effects etc.
I had a few pcbs left over if anyone is interested. They do have a couple of minor errors on them though with easy fixes. Couple of missing pads and a missing ground trace for the tonestack.
